Input needed....I have a 2001 Fisher DLX 220 toon with a custom snap-on mooring/trailer cover. Problem is, it is a pain in the butt to constantly uncover/cover every time out. I am looking at the "drawstring" type mooring cover while the boat is docked, but, the problem I have is....how does these covers work with the Bimini? They obviously do not have cut-outs for the Bimini brackets, so, how do they fit on the boat in this instance? Suggestions are gladly welcomed! And no, leaving it uncovered is not an option....

I think with covers like that, the Bimini will have to be lowered and the cover goes over the entire boat and Bimini.

I was kind of afraid of that, looking at most of the pictures I have seen. It would be more trouble lowering and raiding the Bimini than snapping on the mooring cover. I am guessing my solution might be to just buy furniture covers.

My bimini takes less than a minute to put down....not sure if yours is a complicated design or not. I put it down each time when I put on the aftermarket Vortex mooring cover

Furniture covers are a good way to go but your going to have to come up with a plan to keep them in place. Most custom or factory furniture covers have snaps....the aftermarket ones do not.

Re: Mooring cover question

I use a custom cover I had made takes all of 5 minutes to take off and around 10 to put up. Think of it as a garage for your boat that will save you 5,000 and 100 hours of work on rebuild later.
