Hey guys
I got a bunch of boating stuff from a guy in exchange for some electrical work ( replace 3 flood light fixtures ). In the bunch was a set of monarch mooring whips which I don't need where I slip my boat, he said they where good for a 25' boat or 6000lb. They are 12' long, about 3/4 dia at the base with aluminum adjustable bases and aluminum ends does that rating sound about right? There aren't any numbers it just says monarch on the base and their website doesn't list any lengths of their whips. I also got a bunch of cleats, a few danforth anchors, and a 93 15hp tohatsu with a long shaft and electric start, I tried it out on my buddy's tinny and its runs flawlessly and is strong as an ox. I sold the o/b for $300 to retired vet who couldn't pull start his merc anymore. I figured I list the mooring whips for $100obo, does that sound reasonable? Any help is much appreciated!

I would say that is a good price. When I bought my boat it was on whips. They are nice if you have a dock.
