more info on my Reinell

I recently bought what I was told is a 1976 21' Reinell. However there is no paperwork on it, I have to file for everything. It's in good shape, but needs work on the wiring, and I can't get it to start...more of a project. How do I find out how to get a positive id on the boat. Also it would be a great help if I could get an owners manual. I e-mailed Reinell, but they have no records before 1985. Any suggestions?

serial number is stamped in the hull aft/starboard side
will give you the model anyhow but literature is impossible to find i have a 2250 c reinell bayliners compare fairly close
