I have a 115 hp is there any performance tricks to make this a faster running motor

Welcome!!<br /><br />Depends on what rpms it capable of now. I would bet the answer is yes but we need to know more about your set up.

the motor is on a 16 and a half foot boat motor runs like a top just woundering if maybe a larger carb or i even herd that you can put a 140hp exhaust cover tobring up some ponys is this true

Well, we still need to know where we're at to start with. What is the top rpm with an average load?

its about 5400 rpm full out

OK. We're not taking full advantage of whats available now. Lets work on the set up to maxamize whats there. <br /><br />Post the top speed and what prop youre using. We'll calculate the slip % and see what we can do. Also post the hull type and your intended use.
