I posted about the Inline 6cyl that woouldn't run past 1800RPM.

I rebuilt the fuel pump and now the thing is really running bad. I think it's an unrelated problem. It won't rev up and it misses and smokes really bad (loading up on fuel). I disconected the spark plug wires one at a time and when I did that, it didn't make a difference until I pulled number 4 and then the motor killed. It has spark on all cylinder with a spark checker and good compression. Am I dealing with a weak spark issue or what? Also gas is leaking out of the carbs (most likely because it's not being burned by the engine).

Please Help!!!!!!!!!! &

Gas leaking out of top of the carbs is caused by a misadjusted or stuck float. It will also cause the motor to run poorly. Get a service manual, remove the float covers. The floats should move freely up and down, resisted by their buoyancy of course. Check the float needle and seat for wear, grooving, crud. Clean/replace as necesary. Same goes for the floats. Adjust as per service manual and reassemble.

So is it just loading up on gas and not firing on all cylinders?
