More Seating and Less Fishing Area?

As we continue to determine the correct boat for us, I have a new dumb question....

Are there any manufacturers of CC's or Walk Arounds (20ft-25ft) that are more designed for pleasure/cruising and less for fishing? Specifically looking for more/better seating in the rear of the boat. I like the simplicity of an OB but it seems I can't find one on anything but a fishing boat. Also seems they are better suited/prefered for saltwater use??

Boat to be used in bays and large-er lakes.

Thanks!

What constitutes a fishing boat? How much seating are you looking for?

CC and Walkarounds are first and foremost fishing boats. Walkarounds are popular with families because they can pull double duty. A Walkaround from a top builder have all the features and creatures comforts you.

Here is a 23' and a 25' with a bench seats in the rear Grady-White Boats : Gulfstream 232 - 23' Walkaround Cabin
Grady-White Boats : Journey 258 - 25' Walkaround Cabin

My boat is a fishing boat by day. Rinse the blood off, get the seat cushions out of the cabin, and it's ready for an evening out with family and friends. My boat sets 6 comfortably if I had the desire to accommodate that many people.

Key West FS series has seating across the transom, and enough room in the console for a porta-potti.

Re: More Seating and Less Fishing Area?

I looked up the Key West FS series and they are nice boats. Along the way I found a link to Pioneer-Islander series, also nice boats - probably the closest to what I was looking for (other than being on the short end).

Any others??
Also, any idea of new pricing on something like the above??

Look at Scout Dorado and Boston Whaler Outrage and Conquest.

The Scout models have great lines and are based on the Whaler concept of "unsinkable".

Go to Trader on line and put your specs in and see what comes up. There are a lot of boats in the category that you are looking for.

I assume you are refering to "BoatTrader.com". I spend alot of time on there looking and a majority of the CC's and WA's are MUCH more fishing than family/cruising. Just trying to get some examples of what is available/works best for me.
