More then one page posts

When there is more then one page to a single post, how do you skip to the last or whatever page you want to view without going to page 1

just backspace out where it shows "page 1" and enter whatever page you wish to go to.

Easier than that. Clicking the small down arrow icon the the left of the title takes you to the first unread post. Clicking on the right pointing arrow icon to right of the last post time takes you to the last post in the topic. Put your mouse over the two icons to see the description.

that is a good feature, but if i open the topic to read post one, the option is no longer there? so if the op has been following a thread/post, and last read page "4", is my way of getting back to page "4" the way to go if the thread/post has gone to page 10? or is it the op's or any other readers first unread post? ( i think i just confused myself! lol)

My way of thinking (Don't ask the Admiral :blue if I'm following a topic and it has new activity, I want to start reading the first new post. If I get to the end and want to look at something in another page, I use the previous page arrow or plug in a page number like you said. If it's in the oops Hull Extension topic, advanced search only. :lol:

The first unread post is your first unread post. The software keeps track of that for us, thank goodness.

Anyway, that's how I do it and we all develop habits for prowling through the forum.
