Ahhh -- the age old question -- how can I get something for nothing. First, you didn't tell us what speed and rpm the engine turns now at wide open throttle. Nor did you tell us what prop pitch you are running. You see, if the engine is running in its maximum recommended rpm band now, you have what you have for speed. Increasing pitch will pull the engine off its rpm band. Decreasing pitch will raise rpm but slow you down. Without some numbers, we can't help. Just so you know, big foot motors are basically pontoon engines and not generally used on planing hulls. If you have a real thick wallet, you could spend some money getting more horsepower out of the engine but you won't like the cost and it makes no sense to make a perfectly reliable engine unreliable.

How much do you weigh? Easiest way to get what you are seeking would be if you could make your rig lighter. Usually hard to pull much weight out of an aluminum bass boat though. On the other hand, if you could stand to lose 100 - 200 pounds it would probably make a significant difference ...........
