1992 88hp Johnson
Had a problem with a consistent stream of water running through the motor. Changed the impeller. Hook it up to a hose and water runs though like a charm. Get on the water - nothing.
Seems to be fine when the water is being forced up into the motor via water hose. But when the motor is just sitting on the lake without forceful water being pushed in...it will not suck it in.
Any ideas?
