Displaced New Orleans residents deserve the same voting privileges as the people of war-torn Iraq, several black leaders argued Friday in pushing for satellite voting from locations outside Louisiana.

Yahoo news

So you're saying that the terrorists ability to vote during a crisis should be superior to ours?

Have they moved back Scotty? Nope, still right here. Vote where ya live. Its a move by good ol boy Ray to stay in office. Anyhting with the name Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton in it has got to have something weird about it.

And to clear the thought before it occors- I don't feel that the people of Iraq that did not live there deserved to vote.

Talk about a Pandora's box! It's been well documented that most of the "displaced" are picking up and moving on with their lives elsewhere.

Can you say.."Vote early, Vote often??

Apparently the Black politicians don't feel competent enough to earn the White vote?

For that matter... if all the people are gone... who is there left to represent? Why have the seat in the first place.

Ken,

Don't like the outcome, change the rules. Throw in a little racism, toss some class envy into the mix, ignore the law and whalaa, you get the same rocket scientists that couldn't start a school bus. Why not try electing a leader instead of annointing a cronnie.

What kind of person compares Iraq to New Orleans? Kool-aid anyone?

If all else fails, he can just keep demanding recounts until it comes out the way he wants, or until the other side throws their hands up in frustrated resignation. Hey, it almost worked in Florida, didn't it?

:D

Silly socialists. Elections are for democracies!

Silly politicians - Iraq is a country (and I use that term loosely) while New Orleans is a city (and I use that term loosely).

I never used koolaid in the device you have pictured there, but, why the hell not? Pass it on over!

Do you really want them voting where you live KB?
I don't.
The few that made it up to WI are slowly becoming inmates in our fine state prison system.

Quite a few of them in Texas now Ken, careful, if they can’t vote in New Orleans guess where they’re going to vote? He He if any democrats in Texas are on the forum might want to look into this. I understand that Tom Delay is coming up for reelection. :D
