Hi, i have recently moved to long island NY. I am unfamiliar with the inlet and the surrounding waters. I would like to go out and actually have a destination where I could bring my boat. If anyone is familiar with this area I would love some feed back or maybe we could go out together a couple of time. I am very uncertain how to navigate my boat past the jetty into the ocean.
