Morse SL3 engine control installation?

Just wondering if anyone has every replaced their mercury quicksilver 3000 with a Morse SL3 control. I am having trouble understanding the directions. I have a Mercury 200 hp outboard with KM cable. On the quicksilver I pushed to go forward and pulled for reverse. Any pointers would be appreciated!

My problem was figuring out the placement of the cables on the different taps. The directions gave several diagrams and combinations. After studying the diagram and looking at the old controller, I figured it out. Thanks for the reply Silvertip.
