Motor & Carburetor 1988 Ski Magnum Model MIE 5,7 Litre ski, 350 CID 260 Horsepower

My son just bought a Ski Magnum and I want to get a new carburetor for him. The boat seems to run ok but, does not idle well.. After looking at the carburetor i noticed it must have been changed, because it was a car carburetor...I want to go back to marine and recommendations on the type and place to order.

Well,... Bein' an '88, it probably had the Quadra-jet carb, I think Merc went to the Merc/ Weber Carter AFB clone carbs in the early mid-90s,....

I've got the Carter Clone myself, 'n Love it,....
It's an exact copy of the Edlebrock 1409,.... a Good choice for You.,....

What carb is on it now, 'n why do ya think it ain't marine rated,..??
