help i need a motor cover for my 2001 70hp Evinrude part # 5032518<br />the dealers want $561.56 plus tax<br />ouch can anyone suggest anything else?

pdspeh,<br /><br />That cover is the same part for that engine going way back, at least into the mid eighties. The decals and graphics might not be the same, but you can save a bundle on a used one.<br /><br />Check out www.twincityoutboard.com or check out e-bay.

that can't be because this motor is actually a suzuki (4 stoke 4 cyl. F.I.) in design w/ evinrude badges and controls.

pdspeh,<br /><br />Sorry, you didn't say it was a Suzy four stroke. <br /><br />You're stuck. It also may be a problem getting one-good luck.
