Motor cuts off at full throttle

I have a 1985 Evinrude 90hp V4. While running it under full throttle it suddenly cut off. It cranked back up and ran fine for about two minutes and then suddenly cut off again. Well once again it cranked back up and ran fine for approximately twenty minutes and then I manually cut it off. About a hour later I cranked it back up and ran for about 30 minutes, but I could only get it to run about half throttle. It did not cut off again and even appeared to run fine, except for lack of throttle. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

First of all check the fuel filter, vent on the tank, and primer bulb, then fire it up and see if it will run wide open, take someone with you so if it starts to die again pump the primer bulb if it takes off again replace the fuel pump if the primer bulb is sucking flat the vent on the tank is plugged up or your fuel line is pluged up or the screen in the pickup tube in the tank is plugged.
