Motor cuts out at high speeds

My 1989 evinrude cuts out for just a second then picks back up and runs fine. It happens when I am going at faster speeds. I will start with changing the fuel line from the tank to the motor. Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated. P.S. Does anybody have a diagram of where the filter in the inside of the motor is? I still have the oil injection hooked up to the motor if that makes a difference. I hope replacing the fuel line works.

should be a glass see thru inline filter.

Is that the filter inside the cowling of the motor? I looked but could just see a little metal looking filter.
