i everyone , not sure where to post this . any way i have a 1996 115 horsepower merc , before we head to the boat ramp i always put the muffs on the motor and let it run for a few minutes then when i get to the ramp i know i am good to go . this morning i put the muffs on the motor and it turned over about 4 times and drained the battery . i put the charger on the battery for about 2 hours , turned the key and it turned the motor over about 4 times and drained the battery , this battery is only a year old , any way i went and bought a new battery and hooked it up and i got the same thing , it turned over about 4 times and drained this battery . i am stumped anybody know what would drain a battery so quick ? i have checked all the terminals and everything is tight . thankyou .
