motor for 1725 Explorer Sport

I am considering a new 1725 Exporer Sport that has a 90 hp 4 stroke Merc. I would like input if that is enough motor. It would mostly be just 2 fishing but sometimes 4.

I have a 1675 ss with a 75 on it it and it runs 35 mph gps with four people and gear. I would say you will be fine with the 90. You won't break any speed records, but you won't be a slug either.

I'd like to put a 115 on my boat but it only rated for a 90. A 115 for you would be great as the max is 125, but a 90 will not be bad either.

thanks for the input, I had second thoughts about the 90 and have a1725 with a 115 on the way
