I have a 55 lb thrust trolling motor on a Stratos 275 Pro XL bass boat. Just bought the bought and while the trolling motor seems to work fine, I notice the entire shaft moving or flexing quite a bit everytime I engage the prop. Looks like a large rubber bushing that surrounds the shaft in the shaft housing may be worn. Had a fellow angler tell me its normal pushing around a heavier boat. Curious what you all think? Is this normal? Thanks for any advice.
