bought manual but no help--have 24 volt foot controlled motor guide trolling motor--there is a white round knob on the platform where your foot goes that can be turned up/down--there are different little symbols at each location where the knob is turn--anyone know what and the purpose of this knob

It's always best to let us know exactly what your working on, in this case a model number could help a bunch.
This might help, but might be the speed control

it is a speed control button because I just figured out with your help that both the 12 v and 24 volt is one speed only(max speed when turned on) and this button controls the speed---- thanks a million
