Motor ID

This is kind of a continuation of my last post Tilt & Trim Release but the subject has changed to Motor ID. The outside ID plate is missing; the cover says Evinrude 90 and VRO. Anyone have a clue where the ID Plug on the block should be? I’m trying to ID it so I can order a manual for it.

Look for a nickle-size welch plug on the block. It will have a serial number. Hopefully a model as well. If you strike-out there, see if you can post a picture.

Plug is probably on top of the block buried under wiring and such. It's there. Keep looking....d One thing we know for sure.....it's an 84' or later year....8)

Thanks OBJ that gets me close enough to order the manual. Any idea who’s manual is better Seloc or Clymer.
