Motor ID

Can anyone tell me what year this motor is and where you found info on it; especially if parts are still available? A good handicapped, friend of mine has one and is looking for parts to fix it. I'd like to do this for him if I can find parts, etc for it. The info I have is Model 25RL75B; Ser E4237669. Thanks, Bob

The model number 25RL75B goes with the 1975 25HP Johnson motor.

that motor properly tuned and maintained will be as reliable and a new one. it will run another 45 years.

my dad is 76 and unfortunately fishes alone at times. He also has a trolling motor just in case his motor quits. I just bought one too.

I wouldn't worry about that motor. Just give it a tune-up. Its a good machine.
