motor identifications

Hey guys I hope someone can help on this one. <br /> I have two boat motors that I need information on like what year,where I can get parts,fuel mixture, and all that good stuff.<br /> First is a 7.5 hp scott attwater the only no. I can find is M33852235 followed by 4200 rpm which I guess is the max rated rpm for the motor.<br /> second is a 33 super seahorse s# J2682078 model# RX14D . Elecrtic start.<br /> any info on these motors would be helpful.<br /> Also could anyone tell me where I could get a cowling for a '57 fast twin 18 Evinrude ?<br /><br />Thanks.

Hello Kenrude<br />Your Scott-Attwater is a 1959 7.5hp <br />Spark plug, champ. H10J gap .035<br />Point gap .020<br />Mix 1/2pint to the gal.<br /> The johnson is a 1966 model.

Thanks Captain,<br /> Any idea where I could get parts for the scott? I've been told that its a good motor when it's running but I cann't get parts for it when it breaks down.<br />
