Motor is running great, but smokes like a fogger at idle

I have a 90 hp mercury 2 stroke 3 cyc oil injected outboard that recently had all 3 carbs rebuilt. I replaced my fuel line, bulb primer, fuel enrichment value, and the boat is running great. The problem is that it's smoking very heavily at idle, once the boat is moving it runs perfect with no smoke.

Here is a video of it smoking:

Some of that looks like steam, as oil smoke is blue. Perhaps the motor is overheating?

If it is truely smoke, check the fuel pump diaphragm for a leak. That would allow raw fuel into the crankcase, where it burns with great smoke.

Engine temp is fine. I'll check the fuel pump diaphragm today. This problem started shortly after replacing the old bulb primer and putting a new walmart oil into the engine (Quicksilver marine synthetic). Previously the engine was flooding because of a fuel enrichment value issue, that was fixed and carbs were also rebuilt.

I'd run it for 15 minutes and then pull the sparkplugs for inspection.

That’s not 2 stroke oil smoke...looks like it’s either pretty dam cold and damp where you are...or the fuel/mix is wat too much bias towards air.

Spark plugs are good they were just replaced after my carb rebuild. Fuel diaphragm also didn't have a leak.

That video may be bad, the color does have a blueish color to the smoke. I took the boat out today, ran like a champ went tubing for 2 hours.

The boat seemed to only smoke after first starting and idling. After driving the boat and idling the smoke isn't there. It's only when it sits for a while and then idle.

Well, the gasoline in the carbs will evaporate, when the boat sits not running. This will give some initial extra smoke.....

Your video is poor as it doesn't show whether or not the smoke/water vapour dissipates, or hangs over the water in a smoky cloud fending off Mosquitoes
