motor misfireing at wot

i have a 115 evinrude that seems to misfire at wot. the motor jerk violantly every 8 to 10 secounds apart. when at half throttle the motor runs smooth. <br /><br />i'm going to change plugs, plug wires and gas and water seperater filter first to see if this solves the problem. any other suggestions on what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated.
