standing at back of motor on right side on motor mount close to turnbuckle is a small knob, it looks like it might be for keeping the motor from kicking up when in reverse whitch i am haveing trouble with, the knob is frozin in the out position and i didn't want to break it, but if it does lock the motor down i'll try a little harder to free it up. thanks for any help i can get. I believe the "knob" in question is #48 in the above referenced picture. It is to hold the motor up in tilted position. You can't push it in when in the down position.

However---#27 is the tilt lock/release lever to hold it down. It is a rather complex assembly consisting of 27, 31, 29, 28, 32, 40, 34, and other little pieces. The tilt pin #50 is what it latches to.

Yes,it's# 48.I have one on my Norseman But I don't think it's for reverse lock,I think it's to lock the rig in the up position for travelling. When it's pushed in it locates in a hole in the standing part of the bracket but I don't believe there is a hole for the down position.
