motor mounts?

Does the 1983 Volvo AQ125A/270 have motor mounts that support it off the floor or does the bell housing just get attached to the transom shield (mountin bracket)?

It loks like the transom is suppoting the entire motor.

I would think there should be some front motor mounts...
Maybe a volvo owner can tell you more..

nope, quite a few of the 4 cylinder rubber band motors just hung off the transom. at least it made it easier to change a rusted oil pan .
the old renault motors in the early mercruiser line mounted the same way.
