motor mounts

i was out on the river today and it was kinda rough... i hit a wave a my motor jerked for a sec and started to shake real bad...i was hitting 24mph on gps now i can only 19mph... would a bad mount cause u to loose a few mph at wot.... the front mounts have no play in them the back mounts have 3/8 of play in them im gonna pull it from its well tomorrow and star to take it apart... thanx for the info

1978 evinrude 55hp 20"shaft it starts and runs fine just shakes reel bad and i lost 8 mph in my top end

its a composite prop it looked fine

took the prop off and the back of it was cracked ill never buy a pro pulse composite again it lasted 9 weeks thank god i got it off ebay new for $30
