Motor not firing

Model # 70ESL7.5B. No blown fuses. What would be some other common things to look for & how to test??? Controls have been replaced. Ran fine for several trips & was idling & all of a sudden died & will not start back. It isn't firing at all. Thanks

By not firing at do you mean no spark or engine will not turn over?

Do you have a manual to help you check out the electrical system? Do you have a kill switch with a lanyard, could be defective. If you disconnect the cannon plug it isolates the electrical system. Jump the starter solenoid, if it has spark the problem is somewhere in the harness. At the power pack see if you have a black and yellow wire, if so disconnect and see if you get spark.
