Re: motor pulls hard to the right?

Normally you need to adjust the annode on the cavitation plate. It is the little fin looking thing at the rear most bottom of the plate which is in the direct path of the thrust coming off the propeller. You simply loosen it and turn it slightly. Now I am going blank on which way to adjust it for the motor pulling right.

I found the information when I searched and was able to fix this exact problem on mine. Can't say how I did that exactly...........the search function on this site is pretty horrible IMO.

Re: motor pulls hard to the right?

Hello. Just to be clear. When it is pulling to the right you adjust the trailing edge to the right. This puts the leading edge to the left. This info was straight out of the Merc manual. If that does not help then there are some other issues here. Bent skeg?

If this is a new problem check all mounting bolts are secure and transom is not soft/flexing/cracking.I would also check under hull for anything abnormal, heavy scrapes or gauges etc.
