Hi, Newbie here. Very new to the whole outboard scene. Only ever owned a new 2hp that has yet to need service. However I now have a 1992 Merc 25hp. Just wondering what the Model is. Serial is 0D010853.
Also as I look at the parts pages on the internet is it safe to say that My serial number does fall between 0b2****** and 0G0****** Seems it does, and that would be a stupid question, but like I said I'm new to this whole thing.
How hard is it to replace the grip, and throttle cables in the Tiller handle? Cables rub together under cowl and have started rusting on the inner lining of the cable. Works fine, but I want to replace BEFORE they become a problem.
