I have twin 305's and I need to remove one of them due to a hole in the oil pan. Went to remoce the starter motor and touched the oil pan and it started leaking.. anyway....

Do I have to reomove the drive first or can I just pull the motor?

Also does anyone know of a good web site to get cheap aftermarket engine covers I want to go ahead and replace the timing cover also...
I have twin motors if that makes a difference.

Any help or links will be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Motor removal?

Hi Darren,
Yes on most engine application you can just pull the motor, but your job will be so much easier both in and out if the drive is pulled first.
You can use automotive timming chain, valve covers, and oil pan from an automotive 305.
