Motor Replacement...Special Tools?

So I'm expecting the long block from Rapido next week.

I'm replacing a 4.3L with another 4.3L.

Will be pulling the outdrive so I will have to re-install it.

I know that there is an alignment tool that I will need but any other specialized tools that are must haves.

I'll be checking and replacing bellows and gimble bearing if needed...

Any other thoughts before I get started as I want to have all the tools needed before starting.

TIA!

The alignment bar is really the only "Special" tool needed.

Dont forget the Muffler Bearing Greaser!!!!!:D

Sorry, man I could not resist.

The alignment bar should do it. A buddy with beer would be nice for after it in.

there must be some expander tool for the ring that goes in the bellows to anchor it too... to roll the aluminum ring out tight?

there's a puller for the gimbal bearing and install pusher for the new one

there's a pair of funny plier hook things (18-9847) to draw the exh bellows on...

I did mine with none of the above, but woulda been easier with the right stuff I'm sure...
