motor reverse thrust question with pt 130 tilt trim unit

I had a cmc pt130 installed yesterday here is my question,will my motor fly upwards if I shift into reverse and give it throttle? the cable that connects to that little handle (I believe its the tilt assist lever) was broke and I told the installer not to replace it as I would not need it. Now Im starting to wonder will that motor want to fly up towards the boat when I go in reverse and give it throttle.
