At what points do I measure to get the correct shaft length?

Hi, Spork.<br /><br />On the boat: From the top edge of the transom straight down to a point level with the bottom.<br /><br />On the engine: From the bottom edge that fits on the top of the transom to the anti-ventilation plate.<br /><br />Good luck.
