I have a 2000 25hp Johnson that shuts off when I'm running it faster than half throttle, when this happens I just start it up and I'm on my way again, when I reach half throttle it does it again, it doesn't always do this but it does it enough to drive me nuts. My question is does the motor have a sensor to tell it to shut off because somethings wrong? The motor is oil injected and I was thinking it detects no oil so it shuts off, the resevoir is sitting at 3/4 full and the oil injection is working. any sugestions?
