Hey guys, I have been having fits with this engine and making baby steps. Today I fixed what I assume was an air leak and the boat was running very good. However, if left at high rpm in turns the motor still stalls. I have clear hose installed right now (air leak test) and did not see air bubbles going through the hose... maybe an occasional pocket by where the normal hose is spliced to the clear hose with a fuel barb... thats it. Any ideas?

well if it dies while making left turns then indeed the fuel quick coupler may have a bad o-ring that breeches under stress, you wouldn't see bubbles in the fuel hose because they would be after the fitting, or your engine wire harness plug may have a bad connection that acts up when the plug gets pulled on during a turn.

check to see if the fuel line has a kink when turning. Also check the elec. to see if something is shorting at the engine or at the helm.

Just for the heck of it , start it up on some muffs and turn the wheel from left to right and see if it acts up.
