Have a 87 bayliner trophy.. use to have the 125 force on her......i got my hands on a 95 merc 90hp..will that motor work on my 19.6 trophy. and do i need to be concerned about shaft length..lol. thanks

You need to be concerned about shaft length, electrical harness and control compatability. Fuel lines and steering cable are easily alterable. If you have info on the force motor (longshaft, year etc). it would help.

well, measured up transom length and measured outboard leg from cavitation plate to top of mounting brackett.....both just about 20in. thank god cause that would have been a $2000 mistake. thanks for the good info.
