I have a force 1990 50 h.p. ob without power trim and tilt. Before leaving for the lake I manualy positioned the motor in the tilt position. Upon arriving at the launch I noticed the motor in the full vertical run position. The pin had dislodged from the bracket and the bracket was bent. Would anyone have a link to a website to purchase these items. I never did or could find an i.d. plate on the motor to identify serial/model #'s.

http://www.**********/parts/search/Merc/Force/1990/H0507A90A/parts.html
Shows the tilt lock and tilt pin and hardware..
If you can't find it I'll send it in a PM.

Some parts are obsolete.Some aren't.

When trailering, the lock must be in place on the tilt lock or it will fall.
Not sure how much space between the ground and the outdrive.
Maybe just run with it down??
Also run down the highway in gear. The wind catches the prop and it spins. Can ruin the seals.J
