Hi, I just got my first boat this year, an 87 bayliner capri 1900 with force 125 outboard. I was wondering if when I have it parked between use this season, is it better to keep the motor all the way down or keep it tilted up with the support brace in place? Also does anyone know if theres a downloadable ownersmanual for the 87 capri 1900? or even where I can order a printed one? thanks.

360-435-5571, call that number and they will send you a copy of the owners manual for free. As for the tilt drive, I usually store mine down if its gonna be parked longer than a week. My dad, for instance, stores his up all the time, but he has a newer mercruiser also. From what i can tell, it is best to store them down for extended periods so it drains all the water out of it, its easier on the exhaust boot, etc.
