if you dont have power tilt and trim its just trial and error with different weights and speeds. a happy medium for the hole shot and top speed.
the further out your trim is the more top end but you may feel like youre goin to flip before you can reach plane.
i have 2 small outbs on alluminum boats and both of mine have been set by trial and error.
tie a string or wire onto your trim pin-----i dropped one of mine in the lake and believe me they sink fast.
