Motor Tilt

Hello all, quick question. How far can you tilt a motor up before it will do damage to the motor. I have a 1989 Bayliner 19' with a 125 HP Force. The reason I ask is the water level on my lake is going down and at my dock I have about 2 1/2 - 3' depth so as I back out I raise the trim all the way up and then also a little tilt, prop still in water but the exauhst is very noisy at this point. So that said how much is to far?

as long as your pumping water(out the peehole) its ok!

Hey Catfish, with my motor Force it's more like a spray. So as long as it sprays it's ok ? Even if the prop comes out a little bit ?

let me rephrase: as long as the water pump is pumping water.
