motor toter or not

just wondering if you guys use a motor toter or the one that is on the motor I have a Faststrike 150 hp some told me to get rid of motor toter and use the built in is it safe for the transom it's on a Ranger?

Moter Toter? Whuzzat?<br /><br />If it is a transom saver it is far better on the transom than the latch on the engine.
