Is it normal for my motor to have two streams coming out of the water on each side of the motor while going near or at full throttle? I have a 1992 16.6 Northwood 160 Pacer with a evinrude e48eslesa 1990 motor. Don't know the prop specs. I have a video of what I'm talking about but don't know how to link videos to this site for others to see what I'm talking about. At and all help appreciated. Thanks DN.....

There is the possibility that your motor is mounted too low which causes water to come up in two streams......... Where is the lower plate mounted in relation to the bottom of the keel? It should be about an inch higher then the keel.

This is a common problem with people who use the improper shaft length on a boat...... I have seen people try to run a XL shaft on a long shaft boat and water goes everywhere.

If you are talking about coming out near the lower mount, yes that is absolutely normal. That is water that has escaped from the pump housing where the drive shaft goes through. If it were not drained off as you are observing, it would rise up to the powerhead and cause serious damage.

I know it's probably something addressed elsewhere but where or how do I post a video to show what I'm describing?

Bobvt is very likely correct with his diagnosis of your water spray issues. The easiest way if found to post a vid is to put it on youtube, then copy and paste the link to it in your thread.

I fully agree with him on that. Just want to get a video up sometime so he can see what I'm talking about and make sure I have things set right as I can tell this isn't the original motor on the boat.

I need to get this thing winterized so I better head over to the top secret files for that info as well. Thanks to all and hopefully I'll get the videos up soon along with some pics if I have any of them and the motor position. If not I can take some and link them as well.
