Motorguide Tour

Alright, so inlight of having to buy a new trolling motor.. Luckily a guy that my father works for had one that he thought was broke at the time he got it so he purchased a new one..

Now my question is, its a tour series motorguide... My first question is it needs a new steering cable, How hard is it to put in? Does it come with a diagram to help you cause i cant seem to find one online..

And also on the side of the foot pedal there is a open hole like a switch would be, or a knob to adjust the speed i dont know if it is suppse to have something on there or not so anyone that has one please let me know, an if it does where to get a replacement one for it.
