wrvond Chief Petty Officer Joined Mar 2, 2010 Messages 597 Aug 17, 2016 #3 I wouldn't fly an ensign larger than 12"x18" from a boat that small, and since your anchor light is on a staff that is at least 36" tall, that's where I'd "hoist" it. You can purchase clips to mount the flag to the aluminum pole.
