What is the best height for the cavitaion plate on my 30hp evinrude below the keel of my 22' Teal crusier. I have a feeling that the transon is to low. I think the engine has a 20" shaft.<br /><br />Thanks Alistair
The height from the centre of the transom to the lowest part of the boat is 20". <br /><br />The reason I am checking this is because the exhaust on the engine is just out the water when we are running.
