Mounting rod holders on GT205...

Has anyone done this? I have a new 2010 S&F, and I want to add removable, adjustable rod holders to the gunwales. Cabela's makes some:

Position would be between the main bimini mount and the aft (quick release) bimini mount.

Anyone done this? It looks like I could remove the speakers and have some limited access to the underside of the gunwale top surface... I don't know if there's any backing plate there already?

Any help is most appreciated...

Check up on the inside of the gunwale first. I just installed a tower on mine, and I had to spend about an hour and a half digging spray foam insulation out with a screwdriver from up there to get access to that area, and I didn't even go all the way to the top. Not sure if they're still putting that stuff up there, but it was a major pain in the ***.

i took the back seats out and i bult a rod holder tht exstended up from the over the engion hood and trole with them. it has 9 holders 2 on the ends angled out words. u could down size from it and only use one seat hole. with like 3 on it. it up to you.
