HOW DO YOU MOUNT THE TRANSDUCER IN YOUR BOAT INSTEAD OF DRILLING HOLES. DO YOU FIBERGLASS IT IN? IF SO DO THEY MAKE A BRACKET OR DO YOU JUST POUR FIBERGLASS ALL OVER IT WITH THE CLOTH?

First test your location. Put boat in lake. Put a little watter in the bilge, set the transducer in the water. move it around and check that you are getting a good signal. Mark the location that works best. Clean and dry the bilge. Then anchor the transducer down with the resin. You don't need to use any fabric. This won't work if you have an aluminum boat.

To get it right you can use NASA Marine's universal in-hull transducer kit.

Comes with all parts needed and ensures correct angle etc.

Price around $50. A Google search for 'transducer kit' finds it.

You can even get in-hull transducers from some of the manufacturers like Garmin and more.
