The tank is in the back corner of the deck next to the motor. I want to move it under the console. Motor is a 2002 90 Johnson. There is a cable with 2 wires? in it that is not long enough. <br />Can I just cut the wires and souder an extension of similar gauge wire in the middle? <br /> Total length from the motor, through the tunnel, to under the console will be about 15 feet.
